St. Patricks Festival @ Cork Heritage Pubs

It’s that time of year again folks! the shamrock rolls out, statues to St. Patrick start appearing around the city and the spring air begins to lift the mood city wide! St. Patricks is nigh!

To celebrate our national holiday this year we have a week jam packed with entertainment across all the pubs! from live traditional music, to children’s entertainers (complimentary crisps & popcorn included!)

Sin é

It all kicks off on Tuesday in Sin é with the 15th annual Mick Will Memorial Cheltenham Buster! enjoy the thrill of the racing all week long on Coburg street – there’s still time to get your name in for the buster!

Enjoy the extended Trad session in Sin é through out the weekend, first session starts at 3pm on Paddy’s day til 5pm, with the marathon session starting from 6.30 right through to the early hours of the morning!

Saturday see’s Ireland take on England in the final game of the 6 nations championship – kick off in that game is 5pm, followed by the Buster prize giving and live trad from 7pm

Closing out the weekend in Sin é we have trad from 530 on Sunday right through until closing time.

 

Down on Cornmarket Street Rising Sons Brewery  are also hosting their annual Buster from Tuesday onwards! don’t forget there’s lots of in house beer up for grabs on Wednesday & Thursday as we’re giving you the chance to Beat the Brewers !

Old Town Paddy’s Festival

In the most ancient part of our city comes the first Old Town Paddy’s Festival running across the whole weekend! all bars in the Old Town open late from Thursday night right through the weekend. A plethora of live music is on offer with the likes of The Roaring Forties, in BDSM, Live trad in The Vicarstown, Children’s entertainment with live music & full Paddy’s menu in Bodega, with special guests Pontious Pilate & The Naildrivers playing a free show (7pm). Resident DJs will be spread across the Old Town pubs to keep you dancing late into the night, all venues are free of charge – so avoid the door tax in the old town!

Enjoy the final game of the 6 nations on Saturday on Cork’s largest HD screen in Rising Sons Brewery, or across the road in Bodega with a couple of bespoke cocktails!

 

Crane Lane Theatre

2017 brings yet another packed week  of live music and DJ’s to the Crane Lane Theatre leading up to the big day on the 17th and all the way through March.

Every year we celebrate  St. Patricks day with the best live music and DJ’s, beginning this year on Thursday 16th and running until 2am on Sunday 19th, the stage is set so prepare to party. Opening at 12am on Patricks day we have FREE  live music & DJ’s from 2pm – 2am.
